Community Calendar Guidelines

The Integrative Law Community Calendar is a shared resource for highlighting events that support relational, values-aligned, and human-centered approaches to law and conflict. We welcome submissions from across the global integrative law ecosystem.

What kinds of events are appropriate?

Events should be broadly aligned with integrative, collaborative, restorative, trauma-informed, or values-based approaches to law, legal education, dispute resolution, governance, or professional well-being. Both in-person and online events are welcome.

Examples include (but are not limited to):

  • Trainings, workshops, or courses
  • Conferences, panels, or symposia
  • Community conversations or dialogues
  • Webinars, lectures, or online gatherings
  • Events hosted by law schools, nonprofits, professional groups, or aligned organizations

Who can submit an event?

Anyone may submit an event. You do not need to be formally affiliated with Integrative Law to contribute. This calendar is intended to reflect the breadth of the community, not a single organization or viewpoint.

Review and moderation

All submitted events are reviewed before being published. This helps ensure:

  • Alignment with the purpose of the calendar
  •  Clarity and completeness of information
  • A respectful and community-appropriate tone

We may make light edits for clarity, formatting, or consistency. Submission does not guarantee publication.

What information should I include?

Please keep submissions clear and concise. At a minimum, include:

  • Event title
  • Date and time (including time zone for online events)
  • Location or indication that the event is online
  • A brief description of what participants can expect

If applicable, you may also include:

  • A registration or information link
  • Hosting organization
  • Whether the event is free or paid

What is not a good fit?

To keep the calendar useful and trustworthy, we generally do not post:

  • Purely commercial promotions without educational or community value (aka Spam)
  • Events unrelated to law, dispute resolution, or aligned professional practice
  • Political campaign events or partisan advocacy
  • Content that is discriminatory, disrespectful, or inconsistent with a spirit of dignity and inclusion

Timing

The newsletter is on a more or less monthly publication basis. Whenever possible, please submit events at least two weeks in advance of the event so there is time for review and posting.

Questions?

If you’re unsure whether an event is a good fit, you’re welcome to submit it or reach out to the Communications Team with questions. We approach this calendar in a spirit of curiosity, care, and connection.
